Matt & Erin

We met the night before Valentine's Day 2004.  Each of us went out with our friends that night, but ended up at the same party.  We started talking at the party and realized we had so much in common.  Before the night ended, Matt asked me what I was doing on Valentine's Day.  I sarcastically replied that I was hanging out with the person I love the most.  At this comment, Matt looked disappointed...until I reassured him I meant I was hanging out by myself.  So we decided to go out on a date the next night.

Matt picked me up for our first date and took me to Olive Garden.  However, with it being Valentine's Day the restaurant was packed.  We decided (to Matt's dismay) to eat at Monical's Pizza.  I think Matt had envisioned going somewhere a bit nicer than just a pizza place. After dinner we went to see a movie.  We both had a great time that night, and have been together ever since.

It's been almost 8 years now that we have spent together.  Sometimes it seems like a long time, but other times it seems like its gone so fast.  We have formed many happy memories with one another over the years.  We got married on August 25, 2007.  It was such a perfect day.

Life has thrown us a few curveballs, but overall we have been truly blessed.  I am one lucky girl to have a man as great as Matt.  I am so looking forward to what the future has in store for us.
